The Department of Finance and Economics recently hosted a Speed Networking Event 2026 designed specifically for Level 5 and Level 6 students exploring future pathways in banking, finance, and related sectors. The event brought together a diverse mix of employers and students for an afternoon of informal, high‑impact career conversations.
Event Overview
The aim of the session was to help students build confidence in navigating the variety of opportunities available within the financial and professional services industries. Using a rotating small‑group format, students engaged in quick, focused conversations with professionals across a range of fields including:
