GoGlobal Week is back 2nd-6th of March, and this year, every faculty is coming together to offer students a vibrant programme of cultural experiences, practical workshops, and exciting social events that encourage collaboration and cross-disciplinary learning.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in diverse cultures through various activities, including international food tastings, dance performances, and guest lectures from renowned speakers. Additionally, interactive workshops will provide hands-on experiences in areas such as language learning, art, and technology, allowing participants to develop new skills and engage with peers from different backgrounds.
In the evenings, lively social events will serve as a platform for networking and building friendships, fostering a sense of community among students while celebrating the rich tapestry of global cultures.
Designed to celebrate the diversity of our multinational University community, GoGlobal Week brings international perspectives directly to campus.
Throughout the week, students can immerse themselves in global culture through expert talks, interactive sessions, and activities created to inspire curiosity and broaden their worldviews.
Alongside the cultural celebrations, the week also features a wide range of professional development opportunities to help students grow their confidence and explore international pathways. These include:
- Study‑abroad and international exchange workshops
- Taster sessions in new languages and cultural skills
- Talks on driving global social change
- Careers sessions focused on international job markets
- Opportunities to collaborate with global partners and projects
Students can explore even more opportunities and book sessions through Rise, where GoGlobal Week activities are listed under the Global Citizenship category
GoGlobal Week is open to all students at every level of study, providing a unique opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in a rich global experience.
By joining in, students earn Rise points, which can be accumulated and utilised for various educational perks, enrich your CVs with international credentials, and gain valuable global experience without the need for a passport.
This program not only enhances personal growth but also prepares students for a competitive job market.
Pre‑booking is essential to secure a spot in the engaging activities and workshops scheduled throughout the week, ensuring a transformative experience that students will cherish.
