Describe yourself in 3 words?

Outgoing, passionate about helping students, enjoy the outdoors.

I also like music a lot, I love to go to concerts. Manchester has a lot of good venues.

What areas of Finance and Economics are you most passionate about?

I think investigating the reason for unhealthy behaviours such as smoking, drinking or obesity.

I am also interested in the changes of patterns in China. This includes behaviours such as people saving more money compared to before Covid and how they spend their money.

What advice would you give to current students?

I would say dream big!

You have to try, think positively even if you think it will not be successful.

Don’t give up, keep going.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I like the interactions with students, I love to check if they have gained knowledge.

I am a good swimmer, but I cannot do the freestyle swimming.
